In this project you  will explore the use of a digital camera to take pictures of yourself or a  friend and then use at least one of the images to create a humorous rendition of a famous news by line in a popular magazine or a fantasy image such as an astounding feat of  strength, an amazing talent or some other situation that could only be created through the use of digital technology.
Or maybe you like the bizarre and would enjoy being a star in the World Weekly News!
Preproduction:
set up in PhotoShop, for the canvas dimensions of
8"x10" . Whether you want to use portrait or landscape is up to you. (portrait !!!)
Your target viewing group are people your age or family members who will want you to make one using their image.
Think differently we all want different and come up with a unique and amusing idea.

Production: work diligently to bring your production to completion make sure that you are using the power of layers and the numerous filters in PhotoShop to create your design. Your knowledge of design principles will be very important as well as your ability to think creatively.
> Create presence with the use of shadows
> Be sure that you know where the light source is and match subject and background lighting (Global Light)

Helpful Tools
Smudge tool (helps blend edges or removes small spots)
Heal tool makes corections relative the surrounding texture
Clone Stamp Tool can erradicate inperfections effectively


Post Production: your image may be colour printed and laminated before being evaluated.

Otherwise simply post to your website in a table in the standard fashion.

If you are not sure about how to use the laminator ask the teacher or peer mentor for help as the laminator can easily be jammed. or watch this video

Remember not to leave post production details to late or you could be a member of the bottle neck crowd all trying to get their work completed at the same time ..... it doesn't work well.
