c) experiment with screen video capture using  CamStudio 
(FreeWare for you to download at home)

must be converted to an MP4 file format for editing in Premiere

>>>> USE Replay Convertor to convert your CamStudio file (.avi) to a good quality MP4 and then import as media (get media) in Premiere

d) edit video sequence in Adobe Premiere Elements
- add Intros and Outros  (Titles ...... Still? Crawl? Roll? your choice!)

e) - determine the time span of your video in Premiere
(click to end of video and check for time)
- this will be the lenght of your audio track (sound bed)

- create a sound bed in AUDACITY >> export as an mp3

- import as media to Premiere

- how to get started in sound editing
- you can use your own music
- we have a very large library of music in house for ComTech students to use

EXPORT Final Edit

- File >  Export > Windows Media this file can be uploaded to YouTube or follow the path below and upload straight to YouTube

- OR SHARE your video directly to
YouTube (you must create a YouTube account before you do this step)

- you could also convert your video to FLV upload to your website and then insert as media in DreamWeaver and host your own video (harder to find on the net)


g)
create a YouTube account   at YouTube

upload your movie to YouTube

h) get embed code (YouTube) and insert it into your Design Challenge page in a table (as you did earlier)

i) upload your
Design Challenge page and make a link to it from your index.htm (homepage)

j) test your page to see if link from homepage works

k) test your page to see if the video you uploaded to YouTube works


also the tags you use will certainly have a bearing on the numbers of viewers view your site
try to be a little bit creative with your tags and you will be amazed at how many people will visit your works!
Go To the Class Directory at the course website and check your link to that it is working from there

Hint : if you like this kind of media I suggest that you learn to download videos from YouTube as you would pictures from Google Images and then convert them to MPG4 and re-edit (MashUp) your clips to make another creation.

OR BETTER STILL - use KEEPVID and downkoad AND convert to MP4 all at the same time!

- or use one of the many add-ons available from Firefox that can download videos
