In this challenge you will
use sound editing techniques and your skills in graphic editing and
animation to produce a multimedia soundscape production.
Your production (.swf file)
will be exported to an HTML page published to the web on your site and YouTube
This is a potentially a team project ..... max 3 per team .... no team issue excuses allowed
Teams should
brainstorm ideas and create a story board and work flow plan for the project.
A link from your home page will take you to the sounfscape page
As in the example above the production will you create a spot that is
under 30 seconds in duration and greater than 14 seconds in
duration.
The topic that you will choose is your
decision.

Software tools
DreamWeaver
- install your creation nested inside a table (pix wide) with a title
banner and a suitable page background
PhotoShop
- to render images for size, cropping, colour correction, etc.
Flash
- to assemble your assets into a multimedia production
- set up for conversion from .SWF to MPEG DVD video 720 x 480 @ 30 FPS
- we will use a conversion app to recode the Flash SWF for publishing to
YouTube
Sound Editor

Sound Forge WavePad or
Audacity
for extracting
audio and exporting as MP3 to the Flash library
- you will include several sound elements to create a visual soundscape
