To start is half the work indeed ......... you  are enrolled in a programme that will give you the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience in the  Communication Technology that will shape the 21st century.

In this programme you will be given a variety of challenges that encourage you to explore and use a variety of software that are industry standards as well as digital imaging devices.

The course will demand that the student think of themselves as the creative developer of ideas and images that could be used for personal use, the arts, social activism, and commerce. The ability to effectively organize multimedia works in a hierarchical manner will be stressed.

We will seek to communicate a message with  meaning and purpose.

At the end of this course students will hopefully be able to :

- work effectively in a studio environment as individuals and as team members

- communicate effectively about this technology

- will be able to use the design process to plan, revise, implement, and evaluate technology based projects

- produce promotional print package

- capture and manipulate digital images

- render artistic images using graphics software

- produce multimedia presentations

- create a small studio production

- to set up and manage their own personal Web Site

It is hoped that the acquired skills  will make the successful student a valued member of any organization to which they will belong to in the future and give them insights into the emerging role of technology and its power to shape culture and provide personal, corporate, and social competitive edge.
