You have completed an intensive training session in FLASH the 2D animation tool that is used for everything from creating animations for entertainment, advertizing, website design, etc ect.

Now its time to apply your creativity and technical know how to the production of a Flash animation!

Your animation can fall into one of the following categories. ( order is not ranked )

All digital productions should tell a story ... beginning> middle> end.
                                      (your English teacher was wise!)

time -- we are looking for quality not quantity 30s - 60s choose a style you can really develop have fun 

cartoon sequence
music video
subject related infomercial   (maybe you have a project in another subject you could twin up biz sci history etc)
commercial
sports
fashion
stickman action
mandala
self promotion
better idea lets talk it probably is a better idea for you!

Preproduction - brainstorm let ideas flow  (assemble team allocate responsibilities)
- create a storyboard
- check resources (technical and artistic)
- determine time/timing
- set frame rate 30 FPS
- set stage dimensions 320 pix x 240 pix


 Production - gather and edit images and audio assets
- import assets to library
- lay sound bed
- position images create animations etc ........ synch to sound bed
- tweek tweens
- test for timing


Post Production - examine carefully and position assets synch to sound
- test your published production
- make fixes
- create intro and outros in separate scenes
- upload to web  OR  YOUTUBE** ( you have used YouTube specs so it will display nicely)
- place your production into the portfolio
- place a link to your production from your homepage to your production

**when you publish to YouTube your .swf must be converted to .avi using a converting tool
before uploading to YouTube      (use MagicSWF2AVI)
