In this Challenge you will produce a video Restuarant commercial using a green screen to locate the announcer elsewhere.

Your Restaurant Menu was a great success, business is booming and you want to encourage even more people to dine at your hot spot .

Using customer/celebrity  endorsements  or just yourself and staff you will create a buzz about your restaurant in the form of a video posted on YouTube and embedded on your website under your posted Menu.

 A) First create a script and practice it.

 B) You will use a class camcorder (or your own) to video record files for your video and edit it in Premiere Elements or Sony Vegas.

 C) You will import the clips into your preferred video editing software for editing. (most likely Premiere or Vegas)

D) Your video clip is then placed in video track 2 above the BG track.

 E) Open Video Effects>Keying  and click and drag the Green Screen Key option onto the clip in the video layer.
(you will have to trim settings in the Properties Panel {right} to eliminate the green background)
 
 F) It will have intro and outro and a suitable sound track that enhances your commercial. (edit sound track in Sound Forge or ACID Audacity or WavePad)

G) You will create a background in PhotoShop that typifies your restaurant to replace the green background. You may alternately use an imported video from elsewhere (YouTube comes to mind) or create one in FLASH.

H) You will export the commercial video as a .wmv and upload it to your YouTube account for embedding onto your website along with the menu and with a link of its own called  "Video Spot"

Video TIP - you can import (and convert to .mp4) video clips from YouTube by using the KEEPVID website service
