You might want to save your portfolio files to the local server if you are at all worried about your web server.

They are due the week before exams start!

Your portfolio will include the following:

• an attractive personalized home page (splash page) that contains a navigation system to your files, your own picture, a brief personal/academic bio stating school focus, future career goals etc.

• your home page will also feature a piece of your own digital creation

• your course developed projects that are stored on the local server will be uploaded to the web server of your choice and linked from your home page

• each project will have a brief (point form) summary that states the purpose of the project + what you learned (including technique, software, design principles. ethics etc.)

• navigation from one related page to another should be easy

• suitable page backgrounds will compliment your page designs

• your use of the principles of design and the design process will be evident throughout
