This is table with reflections and shadow
learn how its easy !

The table image needs an little more canvas up top to accept the ball ..... so left click on the blue bar above your imae and change the canvas size to allow for more room for the ball.

Import the ball and then remove the background white BG.
Move the ball onto the table and resize to a reasonable size.


Now duplicate the ball layer and move the duplicate below the ball
  • next make the reflection ball more oval to suite
  • the reflection will be directly below the ball
  • now in the layers panel reduce the transparency of the reflection ( its a table surface not a mirror!)
  • determine the source of global light and determine what way the shadow will be cast
  • next select the burn tool and burn a shadow on the table surface ( the shadow and reflection fall on different angles)
  • use the dodge tool to lighten the ball on the side that faces the global light source
  • remember to lock layers that you are not working on
