The challenge: In this course your teacher would like you to consider yourself as an entrepreneur, artist, or activist of some type. That is, someone who is in the process of producing a service to sell at a profit or an idea that needs communicating.
This will not override our artistic nature but instead guide it in a sustainable manner.
Successful artists and activists are also entrepreneurs! This will serve to establish a certain discipline, as an entrepreneur is very concerned about time, image, resources, cost and profitability and use of time.
In this challenge we will produce a variety of stationary for business and personal use.
Use Publisher as a layout and print programme and PhotoShop as an image creating/editing programme. You might find inspiring images on the internet that may be of value to your creation and you will use PhotoShop to create some of your own graphics.
You must not use templates in this course as they lead to less learning outcomes and bland generic looking productions.
Cards will be set up in PhotoShop as follows
3.5 inches wide 2 inches high @ RES = 150 or 300 DPI
The use of templates is forbidden as your work will look generic and your skill level will remain low.
Your picture should not appear on your card in this project. We will make personal cards and use yourself in that project.
Ask the teacher for a camera!
