A prospectus is part of the preproduction design process.
It is a written statement that communicates a proposal for a new venture such as a business, creative work, or any new endeavor where there is to be a sizeable investment of time and usually money.

The prospectus gives confidence to your investors and clears up the fog that is generated by the creative phase of design called "Brain Storming" so that you the designer/artist can begin production.

It will serve to guide the production and assist the communication between yourself and client.

Your end product should resemble the image described in your prospectus.

For the purposes of this course we will keep your descriptions short and augment them with sketches where applicable.

It should be contained on one page of paper printed out and with a simple sketch done by hand if applicable.
