fire works tips
 
Fire Works interactive pages are a great way to keep a viewer's attention..
They are fun to create but troublesome for some students to upload and link.
 
Here are some important tips to remember:
 
bullet remember while you do the slicing and FireWorks creates the Table that encapsulates the image slices
bullet insert your swap images in your ComTech directory before you insert them into your page (important for linkage)
bullet Export your page to your ComTech directory
bullet remember that you will have numerous slices of the "Big Picture" as jpegs  with r1-c1 ect. as names
bullet FireWorks also creates  extra files called "spacer" , XXX.htm, and "menu"

You will create a link on your homepage (index)  that points to the XXX.html file that is the table that holds all the slices.

FireWorks is a test of your creative imagination as well as your ability to organize your files!!
