>>> students often say they
have lost a file somewhere ... some how.......... well to bad it is totally
avoidable and your responsibility!
1) Learn to save your digital files
correctly and in several locations on the NETWORK DRIVE (the G drive), A DRIVE(floppy
disc), your web drive (website) ,
- other options include removable USB Drive keys, or purchase web
drive space and upload your work there
>>> were as most students
will finish their projects on time others will say they have not been given
enough time
2) Use your time effectively, start a project as soon as it is assigned,
"TO START IS HALF THE WORK"
- sometimes a student will waste more time with finding reasons not to start
than just getting down to it
>>> most students will
fail a communication technology course because they simply
fail to submit assigned projects
3) Due dates are, by the nature of the
subject and the technology involved, flexible but don't let this create the
illusion that there is no firm
time for submitting projects your teacher will give you plenty of notice and
reminders ........... for a while
Check the
WHAT'S NEW
pages for updates on what projects are ongoing and what is due for submission
and other course details.
>>>Successful students start
work earlier apply design criteria and creative impulse to their work seek help
from teachers and peers then work steadily towards completion.
Never
underestimate the power of technology to make you look silly if you leave things
to the last moment to complete. Problems will arise during those moments when
you least suspect them.
