Pivot is a free software that makes it fun and easy to get into animation.
In Class you will locate PIVOT on the X drive in the Comtech folder. Access the stickman icon and drag it to your desktop.

In this project we will use Pivot to create a short animation on a storyline of your choice.
Flash animation tool will be used to ceate an animated banner for the project .html page
We will .... do one of 2 options
- develop a story line involving at least one character an object and a background
-
create an animation in Pivot between 10 - 15 seconds at about 5 fps.
The animation can then ..........
1) be saved as a .gif and posted to your html page ----- this animation will have no audio and will rely on a strong storyline
OR
2) be imported into the video editor Premiere Elements where you can enhance editing with audio and perhaps special effects
- set up ( Options) your canvas for 640 x 480 for animations being edited in Premiere
For this method follow the procedure below
- import the .gif file into Premiere Elements video editor and then add audio , titles , effects etc. and then upload to YouTube
- the YouTube video can then be embedded into an .html document for the web
The importance of creating a story line perhaps using a storyboard is most important
